This article is for the layer type Map layer. Layers with joinable data have more options not described here.
Each layer has one or more layers that can be displayed on the map. Layers include Routes, Fill, Borders and Labels.
Some layers may not be visible by default because their opacity is set to 0. If this is the case, the opacity control will display a warning triangle.
To update a layer
On a project map,
- Select a layer, Layer controls will appear
- Under Layers, select a Layer using the drop-down. The layer appearance properties will be displayed below
- Update the appearance properties as desired
If a change is made that means the layer will not be visible, then a warning triangle will appear next to that appearance property. If this is desired, then no further action is required.
To reset to default
Each layer has a default appearance. If you have made changes, you can revert back to the default appearance by selecting Clear styling followed by Click to confirm.
